Achmelvich
Achmelvich is a well-known
name. The beautiful white beach attracts people from all
over the country including native Scots. Although popular it doesn't feel crowded. It's
about 6 miles from Ocean Surf about a mile before the turn
off for Lochinver on our small road and about 3 miles north
of Lochinver accessed
by single track road which leads from the B869 coastal
tourist route
Yellow Flag award winning
beach at Achmelvich - kayakers, paddlers and general messing
about in the water with an area rich for walking and
