Clashnessie
Clashnessie is the sort of
place people remember because of its superb location and
undeniable beauty. There is generally someone on the beach
but it never becomes overcrowded. The village contains just
a few houses and is very peaceful. The sea is an
ever-changing scene from calm, placid and welcoming to
crashing white plumes as the surf hits the beach and rocks.
From aquamarine, to navy blue to feisty white horses riding
on black and back again, all within a day! For those who
haven't experienced the Clashnessie 'dream' here are a few
photos.

You can walk to this rock when the tide
is out, otherwise you'll just have to swim.

View from the lounge
should you come in the winter - it snows occasionally! There are superb
mountains in the distance but here they are covered in cloud!
